Research

We are currently running an integrated, collaborative research initiative with the goal of inspiring young people to understand themselves and their environment, set goals and utilize available resources to steadily grow individual and corporate ability for productive employment, leading to a healthy lifestyle, with the following short term goals:

  1. Understand the current curriculum, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities implemented by a selection of vocational institutions, including those the Hope Community Action Africa (HCAA) children attend.
  2. Establish available in-school and community career motivation opportunities; their duration, content, motivation, and their success stories.
  3. Study the opportunities and challenges of selected industries in correlation with skills provided by existing vocational institutions.
  4. Measure the progress rate of graduated vocational students in the previous 3 years in relation to their preset personal goals, and estimate the competence level towards producing world-class services and products.

We therefore invite individual research concepts on any of the four topics above, for possible partial support towards a successful, up-to-date, international standard research process and reporting. After the concept paper we may ask for a complete proposal, followed by a discussion and, subject to funding, authorization for the research to start.
